The week of fireworks have passed. The weather in this summer is torturing me, there’s no better time to say yes to being cool. Stop global warming please…

July 4th always remind me of hot dog eating contest. As a threat to Kobayashi last year, Joey Chestnut has now become the first U.S. champion since 2000 with insane number of 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. While Kobayashi made it at 63 despite of severe jaw injury. Although it still in doubt how Chestnut’s number jump up from 63 to 66 after the last second but no point to argue when it’s over. What I’m looking forward to is if this number is the real limitation of human.

Although for me, it’s not quite fun to watch anymore but these people may not think the same way.

Added: watch the contest here.

With the weather in this season, I decided to cool myself in the theatre. Transformer is a big hit but in my point of view, apart from exceptional CG, it disappointed me a lot. I didn’t expect anything much but even the action scene still made me yawn. Live Free or Die Hard may be full of old-skool action scenes but it’s still more efficient than load of transforming robots with repetitive, uncreative action sets.

Auspicious that Pixar still did it again with Ratatouille. Even if I felt something could be changed or twisted a little bit more on the end. Ratatouille is still a nearly flawless piece of animation film. And because it met every set of Pixar (high) standard, it would be great if their next film can break into another level.

Lastly, a music video from Pikelet. She looks very nerd (compliment!) :D

Okay I think it’s time to shutdown my computer to help reduce global warming and read a book instead. But oh it turns out that paper industry is one of the top emitter of global warming pollution.

Sigh…
