It was May 4th that I attended to see AIR at Riviera Theatre. It’s the show that everybody expect to be fantastic. And it is.

Back when I was teen, AIR is like my sleeping pill and I can’t resist to avoid them. But this was my another delusion :-*. I don’t know what changed maybe because I never really pay attention to their music. It’s been changed after listen to Talkie Walkie. Until today I don’t know why I suddenly decided to listen to this album. I was at the music store and recognized this album and decided to pick it up. Whatever reason, I’m so glad about this.

AIR started with Radian from 10000 Hz Legend and Venus from Talkie Walkie. Before start the first song from their latest album Pocket Symphony, Once Upon A Time then Napalm Love. This album is okay but it does lack something to keep it stay in your head. I feels like it is scattered since each song seems to go in separate way.

AIR- 1 AIR- 2

My emotion kept going until Cherry Blossom Girl appeared herself in pure white ballet dress under beautiful light and terrific tune. After she nodded, she started dancing en pointe through the song end before disappear without a word. But I do.

Tell me why can’t it be true.

Look like my peak feeling came too soon. Or because I locked myself up somewhere. Several songs passed by, Run, Remember, Mer du Japon until Highschool Lover, an wonderful song from Playground Love. Soon stop the show with Kelly Watch The Stars from their first and best album Moon Safari.

AIR- 3 AIR- 2

Before long, the encore start with Alone in Kyoto and one of their most recognizable song, Sexy Boy. Then end up beautifully with La Femme d’Argent.

A little sad that they didn’t play Surfing on a Rocket, Universal Traveller or Ce Matin-La. But this was a great show anyway.
