There were two times I watched Liverpool lost in final.

The first one is 1996 FA Cup. It was the most painful feeling in my entire sport fan life. I still remember the moment the ball, shot by Eric Cantona, passed Liverpool players through the net in the last minute. I was a kid but this goal is always clear every time I think about it.

Long time afterwards. In 2005 League Cup Final, Steven Gerrard headed our own net. This time I grew up a lot, no pain at all. It just League Cup, we won this cup too much. I told myself. And well, in the same year, it almost a tragedy but it’s not. We did a miracle come back on European Cup Final.

I know it won’t stop at just two times, no one wins forever. But why can’t it happen in other cups?

Today, 2007 European Cup Final. This time we made only few little mistakes compare to 2005. We were better than last time but somehow Filippo Inzaghi hit the ball to the net in last minute of the first half and managed to score another goal on late second half. It’s okay, we just won it on 2005.

I keep telling myself.
